Sea Duck

More walking today in mercifully milder temperatures!!!

A good hour with Louise and Bud on Easington beach was very therapeutic. The exercise was enhanced by 2 singing Skylarks in the adjacent fields...wonderful!

Mid-afternoon I had another stroll along the cliff. It felt almost tropical at 8C. I also managed a notable Village record. I scanned the sea as I've done umpteen times before. I caught sight of a few unusually white "blobs"? They had to be Eiders (H.44)...

5 of the 7
Only my second record after a single bird flew North on 8/10/12.
