Texas 19 - last knockings

Well, it's nearly over!

Had yet another top day today. Spent the morning on the lower Bolivar Peninsula which included a prolonged session at Bolivar Flats.

We did the tourist "thing" in the afternoon, visiting the theatre to watch the Great Storm (1900 Hurricane) film. We also visited the Bishops Palace and had a ride on the trolley. Big points were scored!

I spent the last couple of hours down at Lafitte's. Fairly quiet but I did have prolonged views of 2 American Redstarts. Very nice.

At dusk I visited GISP hoping for a Barn Owl. FIVE had been reported on eBird...none tonight?

Last blast in the morning, so I better hit the hay...
