VERY quiet locally, although a report of 4 Cranes South at Hornsea yesterday provided brief excitement yet didn't materialize. Robins and Blackbirds have arrived in force.
The troops up North are turning up the odd gem through the wind and rain. A SIBERIAN THRUSH was somewhat belatedly reported yesterday afternoon on Yell, Shetland. No surprise it wasn't seen today. Scilly has yet to get into gear; it's waiting for me lol!
One thing is for sure, there are some "Whoppers" on the way over the next Month or so...
