I've stopped!

I'm writing this from North Uist in my B&B. Struck lucky as it's superb and great value. This is my second attempt at the EASTERN KINGBIRD after certain logistical errors resulted in me missing it on Barra. Full marks again to the young guns including Andrew Kinghorn who sussed out a way to get there from Skye...I should have rung him!

I've had a very long day to get here from Holmpton. I set off at 11pm yesterday and flew from Glasgow at 10am today.

The wind was VERY strong all afternoon as I searched (in vain) the target area and worked my way North (the direction in which the bird flew).

I thought I'd do a write up of both attempts tomorrow, after I've seen it!!!?
