Fancied a change yesterday morning...and so did Bud as he refused to walk down to Old Hive lol! Can't blame him at the moment to be fair!
So, we had a drive over to Patrington Haven. I'd not been there for quite a while. Viewing was difficult as everything is "high" at this time of Year. Pretty though.
I was hoping to have a peek at the new flood defences and landscaped scrapes but I couldn't see much over the tall grass...more here.
A BIG bonus of this walk was a Cuckoo sighting in July. Can't remember many of those! Also a couple of Avocets called and flew briefly into view over the bank. I shall return...
