A few "life issues" since returning last Monday. As always, I "pack it in" but that's how I like it! There's always a period of recovery which when coupled with finding another car and other readjustments means Birding opportunities have been at a premium.
I did venture to NDC on Thursday for a pleasant few hours. Water levels have dropped dramatically although there's still a decent amount of open water. Three remaining Whooper Swans was a surprise? I added Swallow, House Martin, Meadow Pipit and Whitethroat to the Year List (86).
However before I left the Village news of a Ring Ouzel has me down at the Clifftop paddock in the good lady's car. Fortunately the stunning male was showing brilliantly and I had a fabulous 30 minutes before departure.
I secured another V70 yesterday after a trip into deepest West Yorkshire. I always think I won't get another one...but I've managed it again!
I'm still sorting out my pics from my Trip and I have some shots of the RO. Hopefully things will settle down now and I'll get my breath back...
