SYKES'S WARBLER

Left at 5 and after the obligatory McDonald's breakfast in Hull, I made my way down the A63 - M62 -M18 -  AI to Newark...and waited...and waited...and then came home! I wouldn't have made it yesterday, especially with the 1.5 mile Blakeney shingle finish. Been there...done that!

There'll be another; in fact there's probably been more already that previously went under the name of BOOTED! So, there'll definitely be another. I also have to say I wasn't that disappointed as I'd put this tick in the IBERIAN CHIIFCHAFF, SUBALPINE sp trio (MOLTONI'S WARBLER I still haven't seen). An "obligation tick". Just a personal opinion but some species are definitely more desirable to me, than others.
