Just a line to announce our eventual arrival...in a thunderstorm. Our place in Galveston is just the job. A great base from which to fan out from.
We're meeting Lorna (of Calliope Hummingbird fame) tomorrow. There was a FORK-TAILED FLYCATCHER near Anahuac today. Tempted to have a ride over, via the Ferry, tomorrow afternoon.
My first visit will be to Laffite's Cove early tomorrow. The storm must have grounded some good stuff...
