Local

Afternoon stroll North to second Pill. Not expecting much...I never do...so I won't be disappointed! Nice 20c with blue sky and little wind. Reached the turn with nothing of note seen.

I continued scanning beach, sea, fields and sky. Some movement on the tideline? Waders!

Dunlin (8)...

Sanderling (6)...

and Ringed Plover (4)...

I scanned further South and was amazed to see three Ducks on the Beach! A rare sight around here. Surely local Mallards? No...Gadwall...(P.110, H.98). A pleasant surprise. Context.

Nearly back home when I spotted a group of Yellow Wagtails (c6) in the stubble...

Decent walk...
