Just about recovered!
The journey back on Tuesday was the worst I've experienced. The combination of distance (567 miles), tiredness and diabolical weather really stretched me. The wind, spray and surface water made driving a...challenge. The stretch between Perth and Carlisle was grim. I passed an overturned lorry on the A66. Still, back safe...to a broken Boiler!! Enough.
I feel the SE is still up there...somewhere.
Time to start paying for my extravagances. Couple of shifts before the weekend, then back to my UAE review and Patch Birding.
