So my first excursion to the Western Isles was over. I hope to return one day for a holiday, not just a twitch. I liked the look of Barra.
Having driven past hundreds of pools on the Uists, I passed just one with the magnificent Whooper Swans present...a family unit...
Not everyone's cup of tea...but certainly mine! Probably/certainly the Duff connection. I returned the same route an hour later and they were gone.
Time to head home...
On the clifftop from dawn tomorrow, hoping for the return of the BBA which has been circling Norfolk today?
