Spent most of today sorting things out. There are some benefits to being off work. I've even managed to secure us an extra day for minimal extra cost. Might as well make the most it! The forecast looks superb, perfect for me to be precise. Hope it's correct? I'm hoping the sunshine acts well on the bones!
The appointment with my surgeon has tied in perfectly, as we see him tomorrow afternoon in London. I hope he's got some good news for me. Then it's over to our B&B near Stansted, ready for our 10.30 flight on Thursday morning.
The laptop is making the trip and as long as the Wi-Fi is decent I'll be posting daily highlights. I hope you manage to get away from this grey blanket yourself, some time soon.
