Most overlooked?

Some species on the British List seem to almost blend into the background...at least to me. They're there   but they don't catch the attention. 

As I turned up for work this morning I was alerted to a Gull cry. I have to admit I'm not a devotee of this family...a larophile? Still, I looked up at the chimney stack and there...clean, crisp and elegant were a pair of these...

This is a beautiful gull!

They are obviously on territory. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow...
