Spent the morning on Skipwith from dawn. Rewarded with early views of both Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers plus at least 5 Jays. Also found a nice group of Siskin (c35) and a couple of Treecreepers. Finished on 20sp.
Spent the afternoon down the Carrs. Peregrine still performing well and Barn Owls (4+) in view constantly from 3. Oh...and a Black Swan arrived!! Brought up the half century with a surprise and very welcome Jack Snipe flushed by one of the Owls!
