Intended to rise bright and breezy today to get the year off to a flier. Failed miserably after the late night, althoughI did get up and look out of the window at 7.30! Eventually rose at 11.30 had some brunch and spent a pleasant afternoon down NDC.

Whoopers - arrived at dusk c40
Shelduck - 6 flew N
Pintail - just 1 smart drake
Ruff - single
Peregrine - Male and female together for 15 minutes
Kingfisher - surprise after the harsh weather
Bullfinch - 2 males
43 species recorded.
Main personal aim this year is to beat my NDC best year total of 109. I wish you all a great year...
